The bathroom at Fisherman's Cottage was amazing! It had both a bath and a shower, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. As a guest who appreciates a good soak, this was a big plus for me.
The only downside for me was the size of the bathroom. It was a bit small, but hey, some people might actually like that cozy feeling.

The bathroom was perfect after a long day of cycling, with a cozy bath or shower option. It was just what I needed to relax and recharge.
The only downside was that there was only one bathroom in the cottage. But hey, some people might like the authentic feel!

Fisherman's Cottage is a charming period cottage in the heart of Hastings' Old Town. The location is perfect for exploring the shops, restaurants, and beach. The cottage is well-equipped with all the basics and the nearby pub, The Crown, offers delicious food and a friendly atmosphere.
It would have been nice to have a full-length mirror and some wardrobe space in the bedrooms. The lack of wastebins in the rooms and hooks in the bathroom was a bit inconvenient.

I loved the cozy fireplace, it made me feel like a proper lady of leisure. The stovetop was great, I could pretend to be a master chef. The seating area was perfect for sipping tea and judging passersby.
The towels were so fluffy, they made me feel like I was being smothered in luxury.

We had a fantastic two-day stay at Fisherman's Cottage! The property's character and charm were evident from the moment we stepped inside. The crooked floors added a quirky touch that made us smile. The preservation of its old-world charm made us feel like we were stepping back in time. Despite the festival happening nearby, we enjoyed observing the festivities and had a good laugh. The location was ideal, with close proximity to everything we wanted to do and see. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely bathroom. The welcome basket was a thoughtful touch that made us feel welcomed.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The location of the cottage was ideal, situated in the heart of the charming old town. It was easy to explore the shops, restaurants, and bars, as well as enjoy the nearby beach. the cottage itself was full of character, with its period features and old-world charm. the kitchen and bathroom were well-equipped and comfortable, providing all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay.
One aspect that could be improved upon was the lack of communication from the hosts prior to the trip. It would have been helpful to receive the key lockbox code in advance, avoiding the need to contact them upon arrival.
